Solstice is a menstrual cycle tracker built to be private by design. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what happens to your data. The short version: your data stays on your iPhone, and we never receive it.
Solstice has no user account and no server. Everything you log — periods, symptoms, moods, notes, cycle settings — is stored only on your device using Apple's encrypted local storage (SwiftData). The developer of Solstice cannot see, access, or receive any of this information, because it never leaves your iPhone.
Solstice contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not profile you, and we do not sell or share data with anyone — there is nothing to sell, because we never collect it.
All cycle and fertility predictions are computed locally on your device. No data is sent to a server to generate them.
If you choose to enable Apple Health sync, Solstice reads and writes only Menstrual Flow / Cycle data through Apple's HealthKit. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and your Health app settings, not by Solstice. You can turn sync off at any time in Settings or in the Health app. Solstice never uses Health data for advertising and never reads other Health categories.
If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled on your device. Solstice does not operate a push server and does not send your data anywhere to deliver them.
You can export your data as a CSV file from the Privacy Center. Once you export and share a file, it leaves Solstice's control and is handled by whichever app or destination you send it to. This only ever happens when you explicitly choose to do it.
Solstice+ subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed entirely by Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment; Solstice never sees your payment details. Purchase verification happens on your device against Apple's signed receipts. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchase data.
Solstice is not directed to children under 13. No data is collected from anyone.
You can permanently delete everything from your device at any time via Settings → Privacy Center → Delete All Data. Because data lives only on your device, deleting the app also removes your data.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
